Christina A. Baker (Founder)
Christina is the marketing coordinator for Elysian Technology in Merrimack, NH. Christina graduated SNHU in 2003 with a B.S. in Business Administration from SNHU’s famed 3 year advanced degree program. She worked freelance through her husband Bob’s military service. Being a military spouse, Christina has first hand knowledge with how difficult it can be to sustain a career and transition that career once your spouse is out of the military. Christina worked as the Events Manager for the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, including being the Chamber’s liaison to the Concord Young Professionals Network. She has volunteered with Stay Work Play on the event planning committee for the Rising Star Awards. Through these efforts she became a big believer in the power of networking. In her free time, she enjoys running, coffee, and Netflix.
Robert E. Baker (Founder)
Bob is an attorney in Manchester, New Hampshire, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed at Cherry Point, North Carolina, where he was a platoon commander and battery commander in an anti-aircraft battalion. He deployed twice, first in 2007 and again in 2008, to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was subsequently stationed at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island, South Carolina, where he served as a series commander and combat training tank OIC. After leaving the Marines, Bob went to law school on the Post-9/11 GI Bill at the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he received a JD as well as an MBA from the Paul College of Business and Economics. Bob currently practices corporate and securities law, where he advises clients on a range of business transactions. He enjoys his free time in the lakes and mountains of New Hampshire with his wife, Christina, and their kids.
Elyssa owns and operates Lilise Designer Resale, a women’s consignment boutique in downtown Concord, NH. Elyssa is a marketing enthusiast with a passion for connecting small businesses to their communities through strategy, copywriting, content creation and consulting. She is the Immediate Past President and a Member of the Board of Directors at Intown Concord, Member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, and Immediate Past Chair/Steering Committee Member for the Concord Young Professional Network. Elyssa enjoys textile arts and design.
Lydea Irwin is a Staff Attorney with the New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation. A new resident of Concord, New Hampshire, Lydea enjoys exploring what New Hampshire has to offer. She attended the University of New Hampshire School of Law, UNH Paul College, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She likes reading fantasy novels and knitting.
John E. Nugent
John currently works in operations and sales at VISIBILITY Corporation located in North Andover, Massachusetts. Previously, John worked as an estate planning and corporate attorney at the law firm Devine Millimet in Manchester, New Hampshire. John lives on New Hampshire’s seacoast with his rescue husky Deacon, named in honor of the Wake Forest Deacons, John’s alma mater. He believes that forming connections with peers, mentors, colleagues, and business and community leaders is essential to a successful career. John enjoys golfing, skiing, boating, running, and traveling.
Joseph P. Rheaume
Joe is currently a corporate attorney at the law firm of Devine Millimet in Manchester, New Hampshire. Previously, he attended the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he participated in the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program and founded the Veterans Law Society, a student organization devoted to justice for veterans. Prior to practicing law, he served for 11 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) Specialist. After the Air Force, he worked at the Marine Corps Special Operations School as a SERE Instructor for an additional two years. Joe grew up in Vermont, then lived in Washington, Kansas, North Carolina and New Hampshire. In his free time, he and his wife can be found hiking, camping, boating, kayaking, running, swimming and spending time with their kids.
Laura is an audit senior at Baker Newman Noyes in Manchester, NH, specializing in delivering audit and other attestation services to not-for-profit, governmental and software clients. Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting, and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of New Hampshire Paul School of Business and Economics. Laura is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and a member of the NH society of Certified Public Accounts. Laura is originally from the north shore of Massachusetts and has recently moved to East Hampstead with her boyfriend who currently serves in the Marine reserves. Laura is an animal lover who has adopted two cats and four ducks. In her spare time Laura enjoys gardening, photography and yoga.
